that... almost made me cry

im a hard-core programmer, a math buff type guy. ive been doing CG just on the side, pass the time. but this...i could almost leave coding behind me, if i thought i could ever create something so beautiful.

Nothing personal, but this is one of the cheesiest images I've ever seen. It's nauseating.

I used 3ds max 4, DeepPaint3d and Shag Hair.
Water is a plane object with combination of bump, opacity and reflection.

is it the work of the default scanline renderer?

Nice work, Good modelling and imagination. Overall your work is awesome. But alot of your images have this harsh cg quality to them, not sure what it is. might be the lighting or specular highlighting or just the chrisp lines that certain images contain. im not sure what but theres not really anything wrong with that. Anyway great work thumbs up

to quote "d_hansbury"

"Is this Poser or modeled by hand?

The only reason I ask is because I see too many people taking credit for throwing some pre-made poser model up on the screen and everyone tells them how great it looks. If these were all modeled by you then you rock, if they're poser...what's the point?

Not being rude, just curious." :hmm:

Always I use standard scanline render and always I use only my owne models (I don't have the Poser even - I don't like Pser's models in hi-resolution)

You Lie! That is a poser model.

To Artisan: you are very strange guy and I think you need take some lessons of good manners - you posted the first message hire and already cry: "You Lie!" Especially for guys like you always I show not only the main my image, but and the wireview of this work. If you look close to my first message - you will find the link and if you look close to this wireview - you will see that all object of this scene don't have Posers's structure (Now I upload wirewiew with turned off Interior Faces in viewport - so it's seams more clearly).

When I talk something - always I can subscribe under each my word.
