ummmmm, the colors u used dont exactly help dipict the mood or reality of what that would actually look like, 2 me it just looks like i person hanging from a rape, not the last moment of some sad/lost soul

so what im saying is ur picture isnt projecting a impresion of any feeling or atmosphere
but hopefully u already know that and im just ranting =D

*edite* also just noticed when someones whole body weight is being hanged from the throat on a rope the neck doesnt seem so looking down to the left . it usally seems stretched and rope diged into the skin holding all that weight.

Yay! that seemed like a rather quick reply although it was about 40 minutes or whatever. Thanks for the critics, I did make a bg for the image and it didn't look that much what i was hoping for. as I said, or didn't.. But anyways, i'm still improving my painting skills.
I bought my tablet in february and before that i couldn't draw a decent stick figure :D
Oh well, thanks for the crits and suggestios (next time I'll draw a suicide thingie I'll think of the physics :) )

Hey I like the idea :) It's morbid, but unusual.


I think you could try using cool colors rather than warm colors, then try to play with the lighting to add drama to it.

As for the girl, i think her pose is not like a person hanging on a rope, it's more like she's standing/floating. I'm no expert, but i think her shoulder should be more relaxed (hey, she's dead!) and drop down a bit.

OK the body is to ridged, the arms and hands woudlnt be flat to the side with palms fat to the thigs. They would (in your pose) be more like how a Gorrila would drag its arms with its knuckles on the ground, knucle forward hanging.

The body need more weight added to it.the head need to hang forwards more, the sholder need to drop more.

Oh yeh one more thing :) the background dose nothing for the pose, it needs to bring out what atmosphear your trying to put across. She looks a troubled soul, with leasions on her wrists. The background needs to reflect her dispare and untilmate dimise.

At the moment it looks my aunites wall paper :)

also consider colors, dead people tend to be a little more blue/grey and the whole pic would probable work better if it were in cooler colors... interesting idea, will you develop it?
