Hi,

I have a lightdome of x number of luxigons. I put an interior scene inside it. I want the dome to light the interior "through the walls" but also cast shadows inside the room. Is this possible?

Itīs supposed to mimic radiosity...

You could put the walls on a seperate layer, and un-check 'cast shadows' in the object properties. Try that and see what happeneds....they should still recieve shadows from the lights.

Exactly the method I use all the time, works great.

Not so great (at least not for me) I don't understand how you make that it works, since the problem disabling ' cast shadows' is that it only works with Ray Trace and the idea of a lightdome is to diminish the render time using shadow maps (spotlights), regrettably un-check 'cast shadows' doesn't work with shadow maps.
The only way that I've found so that it works is to exclude the ceiling and the walls of the dome lights. Or do you have some other method, Architook? :bounce:
