how are you gonna breath with a closed cycle like that.. other than its a really cool concept. I like the way the face is shaped.

possibly its impossible, but you never know :) and with a few modifications inside the body, it could work....
Thanks for the comment, it got me to rethink a little, we'll see what i come up with, but i did like the re-breather idea myself :)

Im posting an update, or rather a remake :) in the making.
I didnt like the results i got when i modelled from the sketch, so i changed his "mask" thing.

Idea: This is a selfcontrolled firstperson shooter character, he controls himself with a mouse and a keyboard, hence the "table".

hey man. its looking pretty good. iits a neat idea where he gets to play with himself ( though the tray looks like itll get in the way. )

to me it looks more like a tray that you put food onto.

Martin: Ya maybe the tray would get in his way, but he really needs somewhere to have his mouse and keyboard.

His weapon: Mouse and keyboard, the gun, only he can see it, just like when youre playing a fps.

Nice ideas there... very interesting stuff. I think the mouse/keyboard thing is cool... but mebbe for a more "cartoony" character, your's looks nice and styled at the moment - crying out for one mother of a gun (which would have a "son" I spose...)

And I'd like to take this oppertunity to say that you've half inched my "location" - I've been living in Monkey World for years... and unless you're a friend of baby Onion the Gibbon - I'm gonna have to ask you to leave! :p

Worked a little more on my char.
Im in the process of shaping trousers, and underarm/hand/wrist.
Starting to get tired of him, so comments, crits and suggestions are well appreciated.

I like the mouse/keyboard idea,

The big muscles on his arms are a bit strange beacause he only uses his arms for the keyboard and mouse.

maybe you can create some extra pair of (prostetic) arms to hold a (f*cking big) gun.

abit of an update.
I think ill follow Konyn's advice (and others), with the prostetic arms or computer controlled or something, arms to hold a gun.
Ive started the gun, inspired by the old ww2 mg42's, but its a double barrel.
