View Full Version : New script: MousePlanter
LFShade 08-09-2002, 09:31 PM I borrowed an idea from a Mirai plugin I've been using, and wrote a MAXScript to "plant" objects onto other objects. I could go on about it, but the details are pretty well covered in the included ReadMe.txt (which I highly recommend reading before use). So here you go; play away:)

Thx Lfshade, great script. I was used to use Freehand for things like this, but mouseplanter is faster ;)

Thanks! But I think Freehand is still useful for a number of things that my script simply doesn't do, not the least of which is the ability to create scripted custom brushes. I like that you think MousePlanter is faster, though:)
Here's a neat trick: do some simple animation on an object or two, and then plant a bunch of them onto something. All the planted objects will also be animated! How cool is that?
