hey all, does anyone know of any good software primarily used for optical motion capture of characters? im not interested in the glubious ammounts of extremely expensive realtime-rendering software/hardware packages (aka. Vicon) that are around - just a modest little program that would analyse data from 3-4 or so not so professional digital cameras, and interpret it into basic character animation data - which i could further refine by keyframing. the only programs ive been able to find thus far is SIMI's Motion Capture 3D, and VirtualMarker - which seems to have dissapeared off the face of the planet. is there any other decent ones around? im kind of bewildered that there isnt more of them around as it seems a fairly simple concept...
