I was wondering how the effet in the IPOD Commercials is done
I'm refering to this one here. I guess I'm actually asking can this be done in Combustion 3?

I mean it is not just a matter of masking the characters is it? I mean there are certain areas that show through

I'm curious about this myself. I mean look at the hair on some of those people.

I imagine it was shot against blue/green screen, it seems the most logical way of doing it to me.

i think so too, its shoted against a green screen and the just colorcorrected with an compositing programm. nothing special...
