Hey, I was making a new scene in maya, but when i created the first cube and was gonna make it bigger, but the scaling tool (the thing with the 3 axis) was really small and hard to control. Not only that but the moving tool was also small and even hader to control, same goes for the rotating tool... What can I do to fix this? I need to get back to modelling and I can't with these limitations.

You can use the plus and minus (+ -) on your keyboard to make the gizmos bigger or smaller.

LOL dont feel stupid Clondike7.
When i was just starting maya at school id accidently hit the caps key instead of shift. then leave it on. Then try to use QWERT for the tools and it wouldn't work so i thought they were busted and would switch computers. I did this for like 15 machines untill my instructor corrected me. LMAO that was funny though, i still laugh about it.
Whats the moral? I dunno wanted to share my story.
O and we all make mistakes.. :)

LMAO I did the exact same thing. I even switched computers too. Clondike7 don't feel stupid about anything that. I was using maya for like a year before i knew how to change the size of the gizmo. If you don't need to know how to do something you'll never look for the solution and probably won' need it. :)

Heh, I'll share one of my mistakes too...
Well, you all know that the insert key in i.e. the dos-window makes it so you can insert characters on top of others, and you all know that insert is very usefull key in Maya? :)

Well, ofcourse writing (And especially correcting text) when every character get's replaced is HARD (I even had to copy&paste spaces :D), so I though my script editor broke down, and have been writing all my MEL stuff in notepad since, before I understood that insert works in the script editor like it should work...

:scream:
