hehe.. radiosity and GI is not the same thing..
anyways.. if you are unable to find a GI renderer that supports shag hair. You could always turn the hair into geometry..
far from the perfect solution.. unless you have near unlimited rendering power... but it works.
alternativly mask your scene out with matte/shadow. and render GI and shag hair in 2 different passes and then compose them together. In your favorite compositing software.

Final Renderer 1.4 support Shag Hair I think.
I'm curently using shag hir with my female model and it renders fine in brazil as long as you change it to geometry first. :thumbsup:

vRay seems to do a decent job on fur. Takes a little longer, though - 2m34s for this one.

MAXMAN with BMRT works fine also and doesnt need to be converted to Geometry first.
