View Full Version : Displacement map on surface?

I wonder if it's possible to add a displacement map on just all polygons that belongs to an UV-mapped surface instead of the entire object?
Here's a theory--I haven't tried it but it may work:
Add a Displacement Map procedural to your object in Layout. Next, load up your uv texture in the layer above your DM procedural. Set it's blending mode to Alpha and check Invert Layer.
Try it, it may work. Weight Maps might also work instead of a uv texture.
