Hello DentonVanZan,

I just want to ask you, what you use exactly in Meshtools.
I discover them a few time ago. i found them indredibles (powerful and beautiful UI) but by leanring 3dsmax (6), I just see that lot of functions of Meshtools are now in standard version of max.

in ex: convert selection to vertex/edges/polygon level, edge loop, edge ring, grow/shrink selection, inset, outline...

So what you use it ?
Thanks
:)

Divide Edge 2/3/4 - Flatten X/Y/Z - Outline - Shared Vertices/Edges/Polys and Tighten Vertices

I think they dont have counterparts in max, correct me if I am wrong man.

See ya

Yes and also in meshtools there is a connect tool that if you use it on two polygons you'll get a hole going between them.

The polyscripts and the features I often use.

PolyMagus: Blend Edges (connect a face between two open edges)
cspolytools: cSlide, csMakePoly & csUntangle(makes a perfect ngon of a selected face)
Meshtools: Divide, Flatten & Connect

hi,
favourite script is probably planebeltoptimizer by grant adams, it removes edges and edge loops without leaving behind vertices ( as in the remove edge tool in max 6) nice clean deletion of edges.... ta very much

Hello marktsang, I can't find planebeltoptimizer on scriptspot or via google.

Can you post the .ms as attached file on a reply please ?

Thanks
