View Full Version : Maya Unlimited on OSX?

Does anyone know the release date of Maya 4.5? And more importantly when Unlimited (i'm assuming 4.5 here too) will finally be ported to OSX? I've talked to people at alias but have been given the run around and am lookin for definitive answers, any insight is appreciated...

Maya 4.5 Complete will be released on all platforms about the end of September. Maya 4.5 Complete with have feature parity across all platforms including OSX. This will be the first time all Complete versions have had identical feature sets since the Linux and OSX versions were released. Maya hasn't made any official announcements about the an OSX version of Unlimited, but if what they said at Mac World about Maya OSX making up 25% of their user base, you can bet they are working on it and you will likely be seeing it in the near future.
