Well one thing is for sure. And that is there are some great ideas roaming around this place. I have seen the past challenges and WOW! So now i think it is time that i can finally do this one. I was thinking about the past ones but was alittle busy with nothing...lol.
The design comes from Porko Rosso with all the planes being water planes. So that is what im making is a float plane. Made out of wood and large pieces of metal sheets. The cockpit might have room for 2 but its a one seater by nature. Its short fat and hopefully will float. It is designed to be a glider and does have a small engine in the back that will also help it maintain flight once it is up in the air. I hope i get this done in time. Never done a challenge before.

I will try to post a pic soon. I already am modeling the plane, but dont have any of the details worked out. I have lots of crappy sketches and i cant post those because my scanner is broken. I might redraw some of them in photoshop if i have the time. I dont know about a character to go with the plane. Im not very good at modeling characters...yet.

I still have to add the flaps, break up the body alittle more and add bolts. Then I have to add the engine with the prop. That will sit inbetween the two tail fins and be held on there by clamps. I have a sketch, So i might redraw it in photoshop then post it.
The wings and tails can come off they are held in by bolts and then you have just the body left. The opening in the front of the plane is where the release cable connects. I just havent built the clamp for the cable yet.
