CGTalk - Layers in max5

Maybe it's just me but the implementation of layers in Max5 seems to be of the utmost stupidity. You'd think that in the layer properties you could just drag and drop objects from one layer to another, or even right click and copy and paste an object, but no, doesn't seem possible. You'd think there'd be an easy way to move an object from one layer to another, but again, i've yet to figure out how to move an object in this way.

Am i missing something with this layer thing or is the implementation of it somewhat halfassed?

There is a script around which adds a lot to the functionality of max5 layers. Have a look at scriptspot.com. If you cant find it there, there was a news article about new max 5 scripts either on Maxunderground.com or max3d.com... :)
