View Full Version : how to lay out UV's? (im too noob)
chopstickinurass 09-11-2004, 10:06 PM i have modeled a pantagon shape archetecture, and i can not figure out how to lay out different parts of the building inhel uv. if i use planer mapping, is there a way to put different planers on a same map? thanx!

Many UV tools allow you to "stitch" or "connect" the planar pieces together.
Some tools have a UV-spider kind of function, that allows you to set UVs for one section of the model, then "walk" the UVs across the rest of the room, auto-stitching them as it goes. Here's one I use for 3ds max, very helpful for architectural models...
