View Full Version : Maya 6 Animated Texture
johnnyMac 09-11-2004, 08:29 PM how do i keyframe an animated texture in maya 6? they've "improved" this setting but it requires writing an expression i believe. i saw a thread that somewhat answered the question but i didnt get it to work. i just want to keyframe the texture from 1-200 and have it loop back to image 1 once it hits frame 201. can i still keyframe image sequences? it doesnt give me that option when i right click on "image number".

Yes- but first delete the expression...
Right click- delete expression
then you can set keys as you wish.(right click in the numeric field>set key)
and If you want it to loop...
just key from Say 1-200-1 with the coresponding sequence
select the materal open the graph editor...
view> infinity...then
select the curve... curve>post infinity>cycle
