I am trying to render out an image sequence as a sequence of .tifs. What is the file syntax in the fileout node that I need to type?

I tried /image_$F.tif to see if that worked, but had no success.

hmmm try .tiff
has todo with qtime version I bet

Ummm.. this HAS to be mentioned in the manual.....

image.#.tif =====>you wolud get image.0001.tif-.....image.xxxx.tif
image#.tif =====>you would get image0001.tif-......imagexxxx.tif

Okay.... There must be a 'defaultPadding' defined somewhere...

this is all covered in the docs. look at the funtions by name => file out !

file.#.tif
file.@@@@.tif

and so much more !
