Here's my progress so far, using MAX6. still alot to go but the restrictions might make me sweat anyways I'll keep you updated!! (516 tri & 268 poly) Texturing will be a blast

Well, here's a bit of an update;still gotta add some details, maybe some ruins with my 30 poly i have left; as you can tell I use the 128 texture for the face, and the 2 64's forthe tongue and wall behind, but the wall is way to pixelated so i think I'll add the vines on a alpha map and probby make a new wall texture, probby tiled stone or something but yeah it's coming along (phew)

hey!!

you can configure the driver for your GFX card to get rid of the pixellated look.
it's under customize>preferences>viewports. then click on the configure driver button at the bottom.
then set it to MATCH BITMAP. and put the sizes up to 1024 and 512.

then set texel to anistropic. that seems to get rid of the pixellated look for me.
hope that helps some. or perhaps you already knew all that.

anyway. cool model. and yeah, it also reminds me of monkey island too :)
