I can do crazy original concepts, but I need to come up with one which fits 'small child, innocent, lost, hero, determined etc' I was sort of inspired by ico as it seemed to fit that description. I have tried to give it characteristics such as earmuffs and frog-wellies and backpack. I wrapped him up warm to give him innocence.

Is this a good character design?, or is it really unoriginal? Thanks in advance.

I think it's a great concept, but if you think I'd dress my kids up like that you're mistaken. Think of the redicule that would come from wearing those shoes and carrying that umbrella around!

Haha he is looking like "why the hell do i have to wear those things?!"

Your character has "soul" and that is very important and he fits into your describtion (maybe hero.....i dont know  ).

I think you did a very good job here

yeah, I'm not sure about this one... I think you should lay off the novelty gears for getting your character attributes accross, the frog wellies might have some promise, but what is the deal with that umbrella?!

keep it simple.

Perhaps, it would be wise to work on his physique and facial features. And those shoes don't look very practical. He'd trip constantly.
