View Full Version : What tablet, what size?
Hi there,
Please can anybody tell me what the best graphical tablet I can purchase at the moment. Im by no means a tallented artist but I do enjoy drawing and creating web graphics occassionly. Im not to bothered about price within reason, as I was gonna splash out on a upgrade that isnt really needed right now anyway. Im from the UK so if anybody could give me any reccomendations (url's to uk retailers or european online stores).
Cheers,
Pash

Please check this link out for more information: www.wacom.com (http://www.wacom.com)
Sorry I should have mentioned that I had already visited wacom. The post I was originally writing got lost because there was an error and I didnt copy my text.
What size is good for working on then, I mean the a4 size is around £320 and the a5 is £230. For the extra one hundred squid am I getting much more functionality.
Thanks for your help.

I use a Wacom Graphire3 6x8. I use it alot and I don't feel the need for a bigger tablet. If you have the money, go with the Intuos2 tablet, but unless you have like a 1' stroke, I don't think you'll need a gigantic tablet.
At wacom.com I believe they have a little thing you can do, answer questions, and it tells you the tablet that should suit you.
EDIT: Yeah, right here. http://www.wacom.com/tabletwizard/index.cfm. Check it out.
You can find dealers and online stores here:

Is better take a good quality tablet like Wacom! or is better take a less famous mark (but bigger)?
I have to buy a tablet but I notice that Wacom is very expensive, 99 $ for a Graphite 4x5.
You can buy a trust table for the same price but really bigger 9x12 :surprised !
I heard that Wacom is more stable and sensitive than trust... but is really so better?
Anybody use trust or other less expensive mark? They work?

Well, you need to ask yourself one question mate.
Do you want to have a tablet or something that looks like tablet?
