CGTalk - Rearrange vertices

Hi

I'm looking for a script, plugin, method to rearrange vertices...

By that I mean:

For example I have a mesh where I want all the vertices to have an equally space between each other.

does anybody know of a solution

Dunno about a script, but a combination of Relax and Push modifiers might let you average out the edge lengths while still keeping the same general volume to your object.

Thanks for your quick post

I've been playing around with the modifiers and none of them gives me the desired effect....they don't "rearrange" my vertices the way I want them to.
