View Full Version : HDRI sphere and reflection sphere
I have scene whit HDRI sphere and I have also reflection sphere in same scene. What I want to do is than I want Final Gathering calculate lighting only from HDRI sphere and ignore reflection sphere. How I can do this?

If its a background environment sphere then I'd just render it off seperately as a second pass

you could also turn off primary rays in the render stats for your reflection sphere. I think this will make final gather ignore the image but only calculate the reflections from it in the object. Not 100% on this but for the sake of a button press n quick render its worth a shot :thumbsup:
while yer at it you could turn off secondary rays (reflection/refraction) in your render stats for the hdri ball too. This should stop any of the hdri being reflected in the objects which is often what I end up doing!!
