Very nice picture, the only thing i am missing is a reindeer pulling the golf-caddy-car thing lazy people use... and according to his shape santa is a lazy guy :)

Great piece! Really nice work. Regarding the wind, those flags can flip around in a second, and rarely stop moving if there's a breeze, so chalk it up as an artistic choice. I worked on PGA TOUR Golf way too long...:eek:

i really like the expression on santa's face, like one of those high-and-mighty businessmen types while the poor elf plays a nice role as an underling slave ;P very humoristic, like i said i enjoy the expressions and i find it that the skies and the whole golf yard both have a nice and mellow feel to them, very nice for the characteristic "when santa went on holiday" theme.. good work!

i was wondering if the grass on the right side wouldn't need just a slight bit of the clear details like in the front? not as much obviously, but perhaps a little more?

Indeed an impressive piece. I especially like the warmth and depth of light and texture the illustration has.
The sky's transformation from orange to blue and the long shadows are great. I definitely get that late afternoon feel from it.

My only suggestion is that a bit of a divot and some flying grass and dirt would have been a nice touch to emphasize the shot.
