We might be able to help you a little better if you were more specific. What exactly do you mean by "my scene is dead" ? And what is that weird thing max asks you before it exits ?

try merging your dead scene into a new scene. Select everything then merge. If it still crashes, try again, but select everything but one object. If it still crashes rinse & repeat until you figure out which object is causing the crash, then merge everything else. hopefully you wont lose anything too complex...

Also try making a copy of your scene and renaming it; occasionally you get lucky... very slight chance of it working, only has for me once that I remember, unfortunately the merging of objects is the best way, or if you have a backed up file:shame: :hmm: revert to it.

Flaviosen... you might want to provide a much more specific title for your posts in the future. A topic like "help" doesn't say much, and might lead to a lot of readers to skip your post. As for your problem, you're also very vague describing it. More info, as what is max saying would go a long way in telling us what's going on... have you read your manuals to see if anything there helps? Cheers.

Always set an autobackup when working with max !
In order to avoid this kind of problem set your autobackup to save in 9 different files every 5 minutes.
Those files are saved in the autobackup folder with the .mx extention.
