wow, the hair on the gold people is pretty sweet. Is it a displacement map? What's the technique?

Hi Joe :) The technique is simple: I took the head made in Wings3D and imported under ZBrush. Once there I subdivided the mesh a couple of times, until it had some millions of polys, and used Zbrush's Projection Master to make the "hair" (dropped the model, then painted a bit with Zadd on, and picked the model with "pick deformation" on). It's kind of a standard ZBrush modelling process. Hope this helps :)
