any links with maya or mental ray rendering times with different cpu's???

e.g. http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20030422/opteron-23.html#3drendering
this is for C4D,MAX.LW but not for maya any similar reviews?

Page 11 has the results for Maya rendering. This article is probably the best comparison as it compares the top of the line consumer offerings from both Intel and AMD.

Just different processor design, opterons are 64bit(duh) and they handle instructions better or cache, someone explained it to ma a little while ago, I got lost after the 2nd sentence, me and my 3 year old attention span :D
