I did this just before the long weekend and have tweaked the refraction up a bit.
I'm at the point now where I'm needing critique.

The render is very percise, but I think the colouring isnt metalic enough. It looks a little plastc to me. The modeling of it is great though.

Very good modelling and a nice image.
I'd try more reflection on the glass face and blury reflections on the metal to get polished look but the chrome works too. ;)
Depth of Field effect would be cool.

You should use HDRI reflections here. That should resolve your troubles ;)

Good job Doug! Modelling as always is great! I agree with Tor Potter that the metal does look a little plastic like. The metal itself seems too bright to me. The watch face looks perfect thought!
Lets see some more of your work!

The tritium on the hand and hour markers seems awfully dark to me. The crown has a sharp outside edge which would make winding it very uncomfortable.

Hey Thanks Everyone,
I'll complete the updates and put an image up again tomorrow. I was using a tif for the imaged based lighting, but will change into an HDRI and see what I can to do fix the metal, and tritium.
