View Full Version : Peugeot Concept Car Design Contest
The competition's theme is 'design the Peugeot of your dreams'. The prizes are pretty impressive - the winner receives €6,000, 2 all expenses paid trips to both the Frankfurt and Geneva motor shows, and the creation of the winning concept car at full-scale for display at the Frankfurt Motor Show. There are also prizes for second, third, 4th-10th, and 11th-30th place.
They endorse Blender in their 'Designer Kit' section too, which is pretty cool.

Too bad we don't have Peugeots here in the US - sweet looking cars - but tough to get the "feel" for a car-line in which you don't see everyday (not sure if that makes sense).
I'd definitly check it out, however.

Cool contest, to bad they wont build you the car for real (to drive in)I thought they could drive... Might be wrong, though.
There used to be a company in france that could do these kind of things - if you had the money, of course. I think they only do experimental things for real car companies now, though.

Some of you 3D modelers should enter this contest. Frankly, the 'car designers' don't stand a chance against 3D modelers with a little bit of creativity. I have my own reasons for not entering though.

I didn't have much time to check out the site, but do they accept 2D concepts? Because I couldn't see anything specifing that.
