Hey, all

This is strage one, not sure if anyone has run into this, but about 2 weeks ago my keyboard shortcut "6" to toggle the partical view just stopped working, and it's been driving me insane to say the least.

Anyways, It's still bound, and all the other binds in the partical flow group work as expected.

It's just plain weird.

I tried a quick "repair" of max bacause it seemes that "I" can't fix it. (hangs head in shame knowing that it's a sad, sad day, when your not compitent enough to fix a shortcut key. lol).

Has anyone else run into any binding buggies? I'm not really wanting to reinstall and reauth everything involved in my package over a defunct shortcut.

(I think cgtalk should add a "wall of shame" forum, this post could be the first lol.)

might someone possibly take a quick look at help/hotkeymap and tell me what's listed when they mouse over "4,5,6,7" I'm only concerned with 6, on my machine in the customize user interface/keyboard/group."Partical Flow" menu, 6 is bound to "Patical view toggle" the menu is "active" yet key 6 shows no entry on the hotkey map ???

:scream:

*Edit
Frig it, I threw it in a quad, their already 10 miles long what the hell.

Well, if anyone finds themselves to be as absent minded as myself at times, and actually finds themselves in the same humiliating position. The answer to this thread lies with the "KeyboardShortcut Overide Toggle" lol..

lol... a year later =) that's awesome! I was gonna suggest that as well as making sure there aren't any other programs open that'll jack your keys

the keyboard shortcut override affects this button, must be set to on (i think) for 6 to open pflow.

EDIT: wow, ya a year later - poor guy - wonder if he ever got'r figured out...?
