I don't think it sucks! It looks very stylised and I'm not sure if that was what you were headed for. His arms are too tight to his body(his shoulders are really pinching together[ouch!]) and his hands are to small. Other then that i like it. Reminds me of old Sci-Fi book covers from the 60's and 70's.

Thx for the reply dude, but I don't think I'm gonna redo it cuz only now I realise that it's....I dunno, boring.
The next chatacter will maybe be better.

I'm kind of drunk right now so I'll say what I really think. Yeah it really does suck ;) Sorry.
The main thing that sucks is the anatomy. Calling it stylized is just trying to be nice. For something to work and be stylized it has to still mimic reality, but just be exxagerated. This doesn't do that.
I'm not a great 2d artist like some of the people on here, but I'll tell you what helped me overcome this problem.
Draw the underlying shapes of the figure before you start rendering details. Then open up a bunch of anatomy pictures and compare it and see where you are ****ing up. It's really easy to make changes on your model when it's still circles and cylinders, but once you start drawing in the muscles and shading then you are beyong the point of no return.
