RMB menu - Combine - Rotate
That ought to fix the problem. If you want them separate afterwards,
RMB menu - Separate

Alternatively
Select all objects and execute a vector rotate op, around chosen axis (and new origin - if required ... rmb / mmb options)
Using this workflow doesn't lose the object names.

Mello.
Here Crgowo, i made a small timelapse on how to use the vector/anchor points. :)
Anchor points ('http://216.120.255.92/~admiral/Vectorrotate.htm) (85 kb swf file.)
Also, you can use the middle mouse button, instead of the right mouse button. :D
And remember, always keep your eye on the info bar. Or you will miss ALOT of extra operations. :deal:

Vector rotate ops aren't labelled as such - so you won't find specific mention of same (as with any other vector op) - they're just ops (rotate in this case) that are carried out around a user-specified axis.
Here:
Select object(s)
RMB for menu
Then, depending on what (axis) you want to rotate the stuff around - choose the relevant option - I'll assume Y.
LMB for rotate around std. axis
RMB (on Y) for picking a point (origin) thro' which your partic. local Y axis will pass
RMB on chosen (highlighted) element - this executes op as well, so drag as necessary.
LMB finish

advanced menus obviously essential
