I'm kinda stumped on this problem!
I have C4d 8.5 and Shave 2. I have a scene that I'm working on which is an interior shot with patio doors. Now you should be able to see the reflection of the fluffy cushion on the sofa through the glass but you can't! Not only that the hairs themselves do not show up.
Before anyone mentions it I've RT*M and no joy! I've added a shave tracer added to an environment object and opted for full hairs. My light tag is pointing towards my cushion and the light target is under my cushion mesh in the object hierarchy.
Here's my settings:
Hair Render Settings:
- Antialiasing: Medium
- Shadows 250 x 250
- Samples 20
- Jitter 3
- Self shadow checked
- Deep shadow checked
- Tiling 2
Shave Tracer - Full hair
Object Manager:
Light (object for cushion): Has a light tag and the target symbol
Environment (object): Has a shave tracer attached , followed by my hair material (the hair material is also on my cushion)- right most material.
Sofa
- Cushion (hypernurb)
- Cube (base cushion mesh)
- Light Target
Any ideas guys?
