Yes. I used Maya and Zbrush to produce this image. You can access http://cgnetworks.com/challenge/machineflesh/entry.php?challenger=2041 for a looooong explanation about how I created this work from the sketch to the final rendered image.

Is not really blood on the ground...just dirt water. But I have the same feel, maybe because of the meaning of the work.
