KidderD 08-07-2002, 02:28 PM When I go to open my model... I get this.... and when the I render the wireframe doesn't show... Anyone else deal with this kind of thing...

check if those objects not visible have a shader attached to them.
this can happen, when shaders get deleted sometimes.

Actually, it probably is a shader problem... i have kind of multiple shaders attached to different faces... when i think i should split them into different polys instead... Its weird that it worked fine before though...

After messing with it... i was trying to extract some faces and stuff... then i got pissed off and decided to start over and... when i opened it again.... everything was fine...
I think I know what's your propblem is, you've somehow lost the UV's of the faces that aren't showing up.

Interesting... i can't check that now since, unexplicably they returned to me... is there some way to get them back?... like i said i have them back now, but i was quite concerned there for about 1/2 hour this morning...
Yeah, getting the UV's back just means you have to do the UV mapping again, so select the faces and select i.e. "Planar mapping" from the Edit Polygons -> Texture -menu.
