Of course I like it – It is stylistically perfect and original – not chain-minded – good sense for real fun
By the way, how the 3D and digital art things are going in UK?

Thanks seems your the only person who does like it :)
as for the UK. things arent good at all (in the games biz). devcompanies are dropping like flys and the whole shebang looks like its falling apart graduate jobs are non existant also. its not a pretty site :( oh well i hope ill get a job one day. im not good enough yet but maybe next year ill be good enough.

Sad. Due to the dropp of the job market in 3D, it is only good contact (person/friend) which can push you inn, rather than talent. I can see according to the level of frustration in critiques on cgtalk.com how unhappy the situation is (in the US, Canada and UK)
I am the only one here who likes your work? – no wander, it seems that here is only a small group of selfbaosted instructors and few ex students playing professionals.

yeah ive herd that too. so i guess there is no way in for me at present other than to make freinds. or go it alone in my spare time. im just going to keep working and sending work out what ever happens happens cant moan about it. it would be fun to get a job doing something that i enjoy, its my hobby, but i know alot of other people are doing work with more originality and skill than mine.

Nice work Daniel (Like the Sperm Whale image as well ) - I like the originality. Is the Vogon guard your own design. I've read the book and listened to the radio show but I have never seen any pics from the series...except Arthur and Ford and Slardi. If so its pretty cool.
If I might make a crit...the reaction needs to be a little more extreme on the two humans, even though I know they are both pretty laid back types. Maybe have Ford put both hands on a finger and try to pry it open and have Arthur with his hands and fingers flatter with tension of pushing and right arm further up vogon guards chest. I know you've finished but........ they look a bit rigid.
The falling one was what attracted my attention.........It's strange I used that saying as an example the other day in a conversation and did'nt realise that it came from The Hitchhikers Guide.

ahh you have a point there. i should have widened paniced eyes more for ford thats for sure for arthur i wanted half choked look i should push that a bit more too. thanks for the response thats a good crit.
hehe yeah that phrase everyone thinks comes from startrek but i guess some one on the TNG script team had a sence of humour. :D

... but why isn't he wearing battle-shorts?
(or have I forgotten who wears what, when? It's these peril-sensitive sun-glasses, permanently on full black-out :D )

that would be zaphod. isn't the airlock too small, it needs to fit a vogon. the battle shorts are from a bunch of really obscure aliens from a diferent galaxy who existed for a few pages.
 very well
very nice models Daniel
but the materials need more work
any way i love your scence so much
