Hmmmm... Interesting.... maybe make it a lazy boy recliner with a big ol' fat pilot? I know this is just the begining, but the couch cushions look way to blocky, give them imperfections, roundedness, life... I know you're trying to build up a little intrigue, but if you decide you'd like critiques, a concept sketch posted will make it much easier for people to try to help give you direction and or suggestions... good luck to ya!

didn't have much time to model today ... used my spare time to update the povray exporter for wings.

Ok my modelling skills are ok... But I introduced myself to the wonderful world of lattices today..... URrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgH
I spent about half an hour modelling the straps and about half my saturday trying to drape them over the chair.....

What don't kill me only make me stronger.

Ummm This looks pretty terrible but it should give a good idea of what I am going to be doing....

It ate up about a gig of Ram trying to Render it.... So I better do some optimisations.

Nah the balloons are to make him bouyancy neutral.... The actually method of flying.... I will show later. (I haven't decided fully yet) Any Ideas.

Yeah he is probably the type of person who could do the world a favour by removing himself from the genepool.

Nice Start and I like the sketches of the Pilot very different and interesting way of approaching the contest. He looks like a beer drinking type and this would be the ideal way to get down the pub! :beer:
