juntao 08-07-2002, 08:03 AM whenever i try to render these glass headphones the image turns up all grainy, the ground is supposed to a solid color. does anyone know how correct this?

You properly need higher view rate.
Check some of the tuts at Neil's site to better understand undersampling.

thanks for the tip..............i went to the site learnd what i could and came up with this:
not perfect but greatly improved

view rate is normal shaded surfaces. sec rate is gi in reflective and refractive surfaces.
To get you glass faster, set the "prevent internal reflections" flag on your brazil test material under the raytracer controls.
