Hi folks,

this is the final result of a project I was doing for the WIP challenge a few months back now. I missed the deadline (obviously) so I just kept working on it (and then had to do some getting-out-of-the-doghouse to make up for having hardly seen my girlfriend for 2 months). So to any of the guys who were looking at this when it was going on back then (all 8 of you...), sorry for the delay.

Enough excuses. It's all done in Max and Painter/Photoshop. Trying to do a cut-out anim style. It's pretty final (I may add some volumetric lighting, and tweak a few things....) I'll appreciate any crits, but especially on the anim timing.

Check it out here (10MB, DivX): http://www.adammurphy.com/wip/wolfdivxSm03.avi
(hope my little web account is up to this).

p.p.s. there's no music just now - if anything suggests itself (some childlike-but-dark-undertones Russian classical seems right, I just haven't found it yet) please suggest.

Good one! It's a really cute ending. Made me smile :) The style looks pretty good too. Only thing I can crit at the moment (it's 5:30am) is the walking animations, it's rather stiff. Needs a little more flow. A little jerky at the moment. The black fox' front legs look too long, and the knee seems a little high, giving the lower part of the legs a weird look, and the animation looks kinda funny too because of it. I hope some of this makes sense...

Thanks guys.

urgaffel: yeah I know about the legs, although I actually thought it was the back legs that were the problem. Anyway, I think it's about time to move on, so I probably won't go back and fix that, but I'll bear it in mind in future. That's what its all about right?
