Hit F5 to bring up the brushes palette, look in the tabs "shape dynamics"

You can link F5 to one of your Wacom buttons or put it in the Wacom's pop-up menu for easy access :)

even when i set that to 1% on fade, it still left with a tinny tale. it is not the same as the old photoshop 6. and the pressure fade doesn't seem working

Have you tried reinstalling your tablet drivers? It sounds to me as if something is wrong, the tablet response in 7 is just as sensitive as it was in 6 :)

Sorry, I had completely misunderstood your post, I thought you were referring to pressure sensitivity with a drawing tablet, not the "fade" option for stroke size.

You're right, as it doesn't go below 1% it is no longer possible to make a stroke fade out to nothing, there will always be that minimum width left. Yeuch.

Cheers,,

Try this:

in Other Dynamics tab, turn on the Flow Jitter, and set Control to Fade. At the end of the stroke you get little transparency, but
the 1px stroke disappear.

hope this helps

then i have to turn on both if i want it to fade and size reduce. that's kind of stupid and complicate. but anyways, things solved. thx guys:bounce:
