wow Very quite nice...i like it a whole lot....its kinda nice how you applied one texture to the background buildings and still made it look presentable :applause:

its kinda nice how you applied one texture to the background buildings and still made it look presentable heh, definitely works, haven't noticed until i read that post

the thing with the three times of the day, allthough a bit disturbing in the image, is a very interesting idea. maybe there could be some kind of transition between the times or something? especially the sky looks a bit odd, but if that is what you intended it to be, then it's great.

Nice work!
I especially like the lights and the water; and the combination of the two. Very nice work; although the scale of the building is questionable; perhaps some distance fog near the top would help emhpahsise the sheer height.

I'm sorry guys, since i don't know how to submit three images all at a time, this is only the morning view, the day and night view will be posted when i find out how to, or maybe someone can tell me:)

Thanks for the critiques, the building is not too high, the highest is just about 200 meters. Maybe some street lights seems to be a little high, that is because they are nearer to the camera. And since it's a fine morning, i didn't add any fog on it, but it's still a good idea, thanks!

...this is only the morning view,...
:D oops

thought it was all three in one, because in my opinion, the sky is a bit too light, looks almost like normal daylight. especially the sky in the front should be a bit darker i guess, it's quite fine at the back around the horizon.
and the water is to black for me

but nice anyway

i think you need to host your other images yourself, you can only attach one image to a thread, you could put all three images together on a big one and post that though...

Wow the night scene looks soooo bright the city's electric bill must me through the roof !!...the day one kinda remminds me of that Jim Carry movie the Truman show, the way the shadows are really sharp and make the "now white" buildings stand out against each other destroying the depth of the buildings gained in the night scene. overall i'd say my fav would have to be the night version of the city.:bounce:
