This is an animated short I have been working on for the past 5 months. I recently sent it to the Sundance Film Festival (hope it makes it).

I wanted to post the trailer here to get some feedback. Im really sorry, I cant post the finished animation (yet) because some festivals forbid the exhibition of the short over the Internet.

Everything was made using 3dsmax 6 for 3d, after effects for post and Vegas for editing.

The trailer is in 720 x 480 Windows Media 9 format and its about 6.7 MB (1 min 13 sec in length).

looks good. Too bad you acnt show the whole thing. I liked it. The smoke at the end with the ire looked allightle off sumhow. Good job. And good luck.

Any chance of a quicktime version? WMP quit in the middle for me, and it wouldn't start back up. Plus, it's nice to be able to go back and look at certain parts.

I saw most of it and I would love to see the whole thing. If it gets into Sundance, when will you be allowed to put it online?

Thank you all! It´s been a lot of hard work to have this completed and comments such as yours are always an encouragement.

the sparky: I encoded a QT version. It is much larger in size (28 MB) and lower quality than the Windows Media version but It´ll do I guess, maybe I just didn´t know how to tweak the Sorenson 3 codec. It´s here:

If you (or anyone else) wants a better looking QT version and you don´t mind the file size just tell me.

If my short is accepted into Sundance I´m afraid I will be able to release it in late january, however all you guys living near Utah will be able to watch it in full resolution (1920 x 1080 transferred to 35mm) at the festival. I really HOPE to be there to watch it with you. In spite of the delay I´m working in a second trailer which I hope to post here soon.
