Hi everyone, first time post so be gentle.
This is part of my demo reel that I'm working on. Project was done using Maya 5 and Photohop.

There seems to be a problem with the images. This might be because your host server is down or you could have a spelling or typing error in the URL you gave for the images (the latter being the usual problem for myself)

Unfortunently it seems that the server I use went down about 10 minutes after I posted this. Just my luck!
I'm going to find a different server and see what I can do.

Environments are always a good thing to include on you demo reel as few people do.
I think that your texturing would be greatly enhanced by adding some inconsistency. Right now the tower is too plain and some of the modeling detail is lost because of this. For example: the pillar like mounds at the base could be made more distinctive by changing their colour or shade. I am a big fan of blending the base of my buildings with the ground it sits on. (remember that moss and other such things grow best on one side of a building) Judging but the stream I would say that it rains often here, weather stains anywhere that water pools would be cool (they don't have to be too harsh if this is to be a recently constructed building)
Is the stream fast or slow moving? Right now the smooth surface says that it is slow or static but the clear water would would suggest otherwise. Basically the slower the water the darker and more filled with crap it is. Water has an index refraction of less then one, 0.6 I think (I use 3ds max so i cant tell you how use this info) Also don't forget, reflections are a big part of water surface.
I hope this helps. I know what a pain it is to change textures and so forth especially if you have to change the uvw unwrap as well, but its worth it.

personally, i think the tree's are too big. they take away any sense of scale.
perhaps they aren't too big....but they look small. hmmm dunno how to explain.....they look a little bit like toy tree's. ( still not sure i explained that properly)

I think I see what your saying. The size might be a bit off and perhaps a little bit too much like a cartoon. I'll go in and see if I can change the tree design and size and maybe dirty things up a little bit more.

it looks nice ...id dirty up the tower a bit and maybe and some runes to it like you have on the pillars in front of the bridge. maybe add some more plants to the water bank too. cant wait to see it finished ...how bout some wireframes ....keep up the good work
