Arseny-
Beautiful portrait. I love the brush strokes. Maybe something for the bg? Nothing detailed, just something in there ...
Nonetheless, I nice piece! BTW, you have a beautiful wife.

Very nice. How long did that take? Did you work from life or an image??

This is a really brilliant portrait. The facial structure and eyes are excellent, and the limited palette really works. By combining the warm colors for the flesh, with subtle blue highlights, you’ve been able to capture realistic looking skin (not easy to do!). The left hand bothers me a little bit around the wrist. It almost seems overextended, but I wouldn’t say that the anatomy is totally off. I really like the hair as well, as you’ve been able to capture great depth with the highlights that you’ve used. Great work.

HEHE.. yeah always difficult when doing portraits of those you love... I really like the soft warm sens i get from it.. NIce painting.. only one minor sugestion, not a complaint, just a sugestion the hair behind the left ear .. it seems the edges to the black bg are a little sharp..

keep up the nice work
