Well, as far as the clothing itself you would just design the shirt and pants and then apply clothilde to it. If you're wanting wrinkles like that... that'd be kinda tricky. You'd just have to pose your model in different ways to see how the cloth will fold I guess. Everyone's still experimenting, that's all it takes. Just play around with it and see what you can come up with. :)

Thanks for the reply gutterboxkid - see the problem is is that there is no documentation for clothilde yet - i am trying to recreate the wrinkles on his top, i dont know whether too try dressomatic or just make the shape if his top and apply it and hit play to see what comes out of it, i mean thats the idea of clothilde right? - to make realistic clothing - i was just wondering the best way to stat out - the kind of subdivison levels i should be working with - whether to make my character editable etc
Anyway thanks again - i'll just experiment

Yeah, it'd probably be pretty hard to get the wrinkles exactly right. But I'm sure if you just run the simulation you'll still get realistic results anyways. I'm still playing around with it myself, so I don't know anymore than anyone else does right now!
This kind of clothing is more or less the most easy one. You don't have to worry about the cuffs since they fit snuggly as does the collar. As for the creases, if you want to model them you don't need clothilde at all, simple bone deformation will suffice.
With clothilde check what the smallest crease radius is and subdivide you mesh accordingly so it can fold tight enough. Set Flexion to a low value (<5) and Stiffness to 100 or more.
Belt the points at the neck and cuffs and start clothing :)
Keep in mind that creases like this only occur when the figure is moving so you will have to animate it. If you only want it for a still then simply model it that way.
Cheers

you may not care for how MV replied but I must say your initial post was the mostvague post for something specific I have ever seen. it came off to me as hey guys I'm to lazy to try this myself, I figure youguys have lots of time to waste doing itfor me.
the post I quoted from was much better, try to aim for posts liekthat in the future, you will get a lot more help.
As for ths line I quoted, to meit sounds like your doing a still image, and this isn't what clothilde was deigned for, it doesn MAKE realistic cloth, it makes things BEHAVE like realistic cloth. for a still image its more work then help imo, just use splines and lof tthem together to make your cloth, or polymodeling

when there is proper documentaition for something then maybe i will make all my questions a bit more specific - however when there is not a shred of information on the matter then my question will remain vague just as the information available is vague, i think its a fair question, its not as if you can tell me to RTFM
Yes i am doing a still image, its for the comp at C4DPortal, so it has to be done with clothilde
