ive got a rain drop and i want to duplicate the layer and reposition it in x so that there are two rain drops in different x positions whilst maintaining the animation on the original. There are two key frames on the original in x and y; one offscreen at the top and the other as it hits the floor.

how do i reposition the new raindrop in x without having to change the x values of both keyframes?

duplication into the thousands would get v laborious!!
cheers,

Morgn.

duplicate the layer and move it to the right or left

moving the layer = "global" positioning
moving/changing the keyframes = "local" positioning

If you need to duplicate them very often, pre-compose the layers
