hey y'all

Is it possible to just render the vertices of an object? In order to get an illumated field of dots representing the object?

If you are using 3dsMax use the lattice modifier

nope.. you can't render vertex... it's just a position in xyz space and doesn't have a scale...

what you can do is to add lattice modifier on top of your stack, set struts to 0 radius and increase segments of joints... that will get you where you want to go...:)
