Hi everyone,
a newbee here. Not too much to show - here is a NURBS model of a hand I`m working on in Maya 5.
Took me a while to model it, however, there are no trims used which I`m very proud of.
I also wrote a simple MEL script which makes curvature tangency between neighbouring edges on neighbour patches, so I didn`t have to use any kind of stich command.
Still a lot of tweaking to do, but not so bad this way either.
Haven`t got a clue where to begin with texturing it!! Any advice?

Anyway, here is the link where you can see it

Any comments are very welcome.
Thanx,

Hi there,
here is the link to a page where you can see the script. It is very simple, there is complete code as well...I tried to explain how it works.
If you have any questions , feel free to ask.

P.S. Sometimes the server containing the page is down...if you can`t open the page, try a few minutes later.

I`m still tweaking this model. Just started texturing it , and this is how far I got.
still a lot to do...seems that after I baked the textures, seames appeared between patches.
I don`t know why?? Has anybody had that problem?

Anyway, here is the link to rendered image:
