Hello, i have a question on how to achieve an animation of a character applying some kind of military face paint onto his face. The character will have a base face texture on him, and i need to animate his finger applying the face paint.

Several possible methods come to mind:
Create a UV map for the face that has the paint animated. Have the characters hand animation follow what the texture animation is doing.
Use a particle emitter to lay down a string of particles from the tip of the paint stick. Use HV sprites as the "paint"
You can also use a technique similar to my vines tutorial on the LW8 3rd party CD. Lay down HV sprites as I described earlier.
Use a free plugin called LLJ Draw Shader Plugin found here: http://home.swipnet.se/llj/lwplugins.htm
Use Prems Surface Effectors plugin
Use Worleys Acid Plugin

yeahh, i've tried a simple test using Worley's Acid and it came out as i wanted it to be. Thank's a lot, Larry :)

pls rename the file extension from .mov3 to .mov
