View Full Version : Maya 6 on Athlon64 is freezing

It freezes right after output window comes up and only message displayed is "mental ray for Maya 6". Any solutions? I upgraded to 6.0.1 and it didn't help.

I tried search but nothing helpful came up.

Anybody runing it on 64 bit cpu? I think that might be my problem since everything worked fine on my old P3.

That's bizzare. I don't have ZoneAlarm, yet renaming maya.rayrc solved it. I went back after Maya loaded and renamed the file back and now it loads fine. I'm not seeing output window though which gives mental ray version.
