CGTalk - Problem with Loft

That curve is CV Curve (NuRB), and that circle is Editable Spine (i can convert it to nurbs)
If i click on curve, than compound objects -> loft, i can't click on get shape (cuz it's darken), if i click on spine and than loft, i click on get path, but i can't than click on curve (image)

have u tried making then both of the same type objects?
